Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. EDT

White Horse Christian Center, 1780 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette. Participants may Check-In and pick up their T-shirt on Saturday, September 16 at the race from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m.

Run begins at 9:00 a.m. EDT
The HH5K Run start/finish point is at Celery Bog Nature Area, 1780 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette. The course is mostly flat and paved, and allows participants to run while enjoying scenic route along the West Lafayette Trail system and the Celery Bog Nature Area in early autumn.

Come join us for the HH5K Run
– Race to Feed the Hungry

Be a part of the annual Hunger Hike 5K Run and Race to Feed the Hungry. The HH5K Run is open to runners of all ages and abilities who share a common goal: Fighting Hunger! The HH5K Run will convene in Celery Bog Nature Area. The course is mostly flat and paved and allows participants to run on a scenic route through West Lafayette including the Celery Bog in early autumn. Advanced Registration is encouraged but race day walk-ups are welcome. The purpose of the HH5K Run is to use physical exercise to draw attention to and provide funds for “Feeding the Hungry.” All HH5K proceeds directly support the Lafayette Urban Ministry food assistance programs including the St. John’s/LUM Food Pantry; Food Finders Food Bank, Inc.; and St. Thomas Aquinas’ Haitian Ministry including the Haiti Water Purification Project. It’s an opportunity to support these outstanding local organizations while enjoying a serious 5K event.

Registration cost is $30.00 and will be available through the start of the race at 8:45 a.m. Race day walk-ups are welcome! Payment options, click HERE.

Hunger Hike T-shirts are available for $15.00 each.

Virtual Runners: 
Registration Form, click HERE. Participate in the HH5K Run even if you’re Out of Town –prefer running on a treadmill – are not a runner – or just want to Sleep-in – and make a difference as a HH5K Virtual Runner. Virtual Runners will receive a HH5K T-shirt and will be listed in the final results as a supporter of the HH5K Run.

Runner Benefits & Prizes:

All eligible Hunger Hike 5K Run participants will receive a special Hunger Hike T-shirt. Participants will be provided with water and a snack before and following the race. The overall men and women’s winners will receive recognition & a trophy after the race. The race will be electronically timed using computer chip technology recording their race time as they cross the timed finish line. Results will be available upon completion of the race and posted on the Hunger Hike website before noon on the day of the race. All runners of all ages and abilities are welcome!


Route Map – 5 Kilometers

Parking is available at White Horse Christian Center, 1780 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette. The HH5K Run starts and finishes on the trail directly across the street from White Horse. Hunger Hike will have a registration table, which should be visible from the parking lot. Runners will be directed to head East toward Northwestern Ave./Sagamore Pkwy.
